1. That exam doesn’t matter nearly as much as you think it does.
2. You don’t need to have everything figured out right now.
3. You can forget how to ride a bicycle well. Practice.
4. There’s too much excitement waiting out there for you to waste lots of time sleeping.
5. When you encounter new strangers, change the fact that they’re strangers.
6. Learn as much as you can about anything you want to learn about. Just learn.
7. Wake up early just to make the sunrise come to you.
8. Fall for someone at least once, for the experience, but don’t linger if it doesn’t work. One day, it will.
9. Embrace your quirks.
10. Dream as big as you can, as often as you can.
11. Take time to disappear every once in awhile.
12. Teaching yourself is always more rewarding than learning from someone else.
13. Strive to find the good in everyone and everything. Be an optimist, through and through.
14. Ignore what society deems “cool”. Do what you want.
15. Keep a box of mementos: ticket stubs, photos, and things that inspire you.
16. Make each day count.
17. Buy dinner for that homeless person on the corner as often as possible, but always take the time to eat with them.
18. Do what makes you happy. If you’re not happy, do something else.
19. The best conversations happen after midnight, usually over a hot beverage.
20. Roll with the punches.
21. Say yes. There’s rarely harm in giving something, or someone, a chance.
22. Be as nerdy as you want-everybody geeks out over something.
23. Take a chance- go ask to eat with that lonely elderly person at Luby’s. You might make someone’s day.
24. Always keep people guessing.
25. If you want it, make it happen. Tenacity rules.
